The Queen's Commonwealth Essay 2018

Four essay winners from ELC

Four students from the English Language Centre (ELC) won awards in the 2018 Queen's Commonwealth Essay Competition.

Kelly Jong, 15 won the Gold award in the Senior Category while Charles Lee, 16 received the Bronze award.

In the Junior Category, Averil Sumy and Benson Wong both 13, received the Bronze award. 17 other students received a Certificate of Participation.

They competed with students throughout the Commonwealth and were given recognition for their originality, creativity and high standards of writing. Their essays can be read on the website www.englishkuching.com.

Enrollment for 2019 classes is still on-going. Holiday classes are also available. Please call 082 250 950 for more information.
