A Lion Ate My Homework

One morning, Miss Mill realised that there was one homework book missing. Then I too realised that it was mine. When Miss Mill called out my name, I felt nervous.

Then Miss Mill said, "Where is your homework?" I felt more nervous. I told Miss Mill that one day my mother and father wanted to go to the circus. My mother and father wouldn't let me be alone at home. Then I brought my homework. When I was doing my homework, my sister snatched it and used my book to fan herself. Suddenly my sister dropped my book and the lion ate my homework. The whole class laughed at me.

Then Miss Mill smiled at me and gave me a new exercise book and told me to do all the homework once more!
